Happylatte at GDC ‘09 in San Francisco

Apple afraid of yellow pee?

When we first submitted PeeMonkey Jungle Fire to the Apple iTunes app store we didn’t know what to expect. The game is cute, but the concept of a game where your goal is to pee on fire might ruffle a few feathers. To our joy Jungle Fire was accepted, and went on to do quite well!

We figured with Jungle Fire, iFart, and iSperm on the app store, there was no chance our latest game PeeMonkey Toilet Trainer would be rejected, but to our surprise it was! Here’s what we got from Apple:

What is in a name? The naming of ‘happylatte’

Once we started getting ready to launch our first iPhone app, it became clear that releasing them under the Exoweb name might not be the best idea: Exoweb is well known as an agile software development services firm, and although there’s a lot of overlap internally in the way we use resources, the target market couldn’t be further away.  So, we needed a new brand.
